Arriving into Mahé's main airport you are a short shuttle ride to Carana beach. The ideal way to unwind after a long flight and ease into the Seychelles way of life. After a few days on Mahé it's an hours boat ride to La Digue. The views of both islands as you travel are exceptional and give you a great perspective on how island life must have evolved over the centuries. La Digue reflects this, with a more laid back rural feel. Giant tortoises and incredible granite boulders punctuate the forested landscape which covers the island.
